Service Projects
Our Kiwanis Club of Los Altos has a long history of various community service projects, near and far, which enable us to give back to our community.
At the height of Covid, we had an "Oxygen for India" service project that raised over $75,000 to purchase more than 100 Oxygen Concentrating Machines at a cost of about $750 each which were delivered directly to hospitals and doctors in India. They immediately provided a life-saving continuous flow of oxygen to Covid patients for at least five years, unlike the more-costly oxygen cylinders alternative. This successful project was spearheaded by our 2020 Club President, Saroj Pathak, a native of India.

We have provided a "ton of turkeys" for those in need at Thanksgiving.
Collecting Election Ballots Photos
We assist the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters in collecting ballots at local, primary and general elections.

We have sponsored Easter Egg Hunts for the kids as well as repaired bikes at a sponsored bike rodeo!
