Los Altos Kiwanis Scholarships
for study at an accredited institution
Deadline 23 April, 2024

The Kiwanis Club of Los Altos Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, believes strongly in helping the youth of our community continue their education after high school.

We are offering $2,000 per year per student distributed at a prorated amount by quarter or semester for the next academic year.

We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated academic achievement, community service and commitment to learning in the face of financial and other obstacles. If you are interested in applying, or know a student who is a good fit, please fill out the Scholarship Application.

Each year, one of the awards will be the “SaveMart Scholarship”, designated to the memory of the late Robert (Bob) Piccinini, owner and former CEO of Save Mart Supermarkets, parent company of the Los Altos Lucky Supermarket that has graciously hosted the Los Altos Kiwanis Christmas Tree Lot for many years. This is the fundraising event that makes the Kiwanis scholarship program possible.  Posthumously, Mr. Piccinini continues to provide additional support to the education of youth through the California Growers Association Education Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program.

Please consider making a donation to our Foundation to help make these Scholarships possible.  You can Donate Online or
