The Club's fundraising activities, including the annual Kiwanis Christmas Tree Lot, are operated by the Kiwanis Club of Los Altos Foundation, a section 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation affiliated with the Kiwanis Club of Los Altos. The Foundation supports the Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade, the Kiwanis Special Games and about $50,000 annually as grants to various community organizations and other worthy causes, as well as scholarships covering tuition, fees and books to local high school students for study at DeAnza, Foothill, West Valley, Mission Colleges along with several technical training accreditations. We are so proud to award these scholarships to enable students to pursue their American dreams. These students are potential nurses, doctors, therapists, mechanics, business people, and most importantly involved community members. We are really making a difference in their lives!
