Assembly area assignment emails will go out on Monday before the Pet Parade.
Whether you are with a group or solo with your BFF Pet, registration is required.
Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 am Downtown Los Altos~ The Parade route map is below. Participants line up in their assignment areas in the Parking Plazas, and the route follows First Street to Main Street to State Street.
A beloved community tradition since 1947, the Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade is a celebration that attracts kids, adults and their pets every year; Traditionally, this free Los Altos Heritage Event is held annually on the Saturday following Mother's Day.
Hundreds of kids, adults and their pets; dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles and even worms participate, while a thousand or more parents and other community members watch and cheer the marchers on!
