The Kiwanis Club of Los Altos Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, believes strongly in helping the youth of our community continue their education after high school.

The Kiwanis Club of Los Altos Foundation is here to support your journey with our College Scholarship Program!

What’s the deal? We’re offering scholarships to students like you who are planning to enroll at an accredited two or four-year college. This is your chance to make your college dreams come true!

Who are we looking for? We’re seeking students who have shown:

How does it work? Each scholarship for a four-year college is worth $2,500 and can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other necessary expenses. The funds are spread out over three academic quarters or two semesters. We release the first installment of the money after you have shown us proof of your registration for the first term and thereafter when you’ve shown us your transcript with satisfactory progress for the term just completed and proof of your registration for the next term.

Each scholarship for a 2-year college is $750.

Each year, one of the awards will be the “SaveMart Scholarship”, designated to the memory of the late Robert (Bob) Piccinini, owner and former CEO of Save Mart Supermarkets, parent company of the Los Altos Lucky Supermarket that has graciously hosted the Los Altos Kiwanis Christmas Tree Lot for many years. This is the fundraising event that makes the Kiwanis scholarship program possible.  Posthumously, Mr. Piccinini continues to provide additional support to the education of youth through the California Growers Association Education Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program.
